InnoCarnival 2024, organised by the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, was held from 26 October to 3 November 2024 at the Hong Kong Science Park. With the theme of this year’s Carnival is “Let’s Sail with Innovation and Technology”, the event featured a series of interactive and educational activities related to innovation and technology, including the showcase of local inventions and research achievements, workshops, interactive games, and online seminars, to promote Innovation and Technology (I&T) culture in the community.
The Project Team displayed an interactive game booth that adopted a motion-sensing device for capturing limb movements, promoting fun and interactive experiences. The game also encouraged family interaction and physical exercise to maintain overall well-being. Participants could collaborate to complete a digital basketball shooting game with another family member or friend, allowing them to relax, have fun, and test their compatibility. The booth attracted over 8,733 members of the public. All participants expressed great satisfaction with the booth.
